Thank you for taking an interest in our preschool.

We are a small, private preschool located in lower Manoa by the University of Hawai`i. We have been in operation, serving the children and their families in our community since 1985. The Honolulu Christian Preschool offers a well balanced curriculum where children can thrive and discover who they are as they grow and learn in a loving, Christ-centered environment.

Director & Head of School

Suzanne Herder is privileged to serve on the HCC Staff as the Honolulu Christian Preschool Director. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, she has been with the Preschool since it’s inception in 1985 both as a director and as a teacher.

The greatest thrill in working with children (and adults) are seeing the “aha” moments when the “light” comes on and faces light up!
