Designed to help children realize their potential
In each class, our goal is to build trust, instill curiosity and the JOY of LEARNING.
We believe children learn by doing. The classrooms are set up in learning centers, where they are given opportunities to explore, discover, and stimulate their intellect and creativity. Our faith-centered curriculum is baed around U NIT of STUDIES. To stimulate the development of the whole child, children are engaged in all areas of development:
Intellectual
Stimulate their curiosity and creativity developing the whole child through play, hands on activities, phonemic awareness, music, literacy, pre-math and pre-writing skills, and science.
Spiritual
Daily Bible devotions, weekly chapel, and integration of faith, biblical morals and values throughout the curriculum and daily interaction.
Social/Emotional
Allow children to express themselves. Respect themselves and others. Treat other with kindness.
Physical
Music and Creative Movement, outdoor play, physical exercise developing their upper body, lower body, core and balance.
Upon graduating from the Honolulu Christian preschool, we hope they would be well rounded, confined individuals knowing they are loved by God and Fearfully and Wonderfully made, equipped with special gifts and talents unique to them to be a contributor to their community.
